Scholarships & Stipends

NOBIDAN offers scholarships and stipends to NOBIDAN student members. They are awarded to further education, obtain certifications, gain leadership skills and involvement in professional activities.

Dr. Evelyn Crayton Scholarship Deadline: June 15, 2024

Six (6) $750 scholarships will be awarded.  Scholarship recipients are required to serve on a NOBIDAN committee during the upcoming membership year.  An online application with a letter of reference, current resume, unofficial transcript, and personal statement must be submitted by deadline (see application for details).

Scholarship criteria:

  • Student Member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and NOBIDAN at the time the application is submitted.

            Join or renew membership HERE.

  • Accepted or enrolled as a dietetic intern in an ACEND® accredited program. Students enrolled in a graduate program only are ineligible.
  • Enrolled in program for at least one additional academic year following application deadline.
  • Minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.

Students applying to dietetic internships are eligible to apply. However, applicants should wait and submit the application after receiving a match confirmation in early April. While waiting, it is highly encouraged that the applicant reviews the application and completes the required documents (personal statement, resume, unofficial transcript and letter of reference) before the match results. If selected for a scholarship, the recipient will be required to show an acceptance letter before receiving the scholarship.

Deadline: Complete the scholarship application and upload required documents by July 15, 2024.

FNCE® Stipend

Ten (10) $100.00 stipends will be awarded. Stipend recipients are required to serve a minimum of two (2) hours working at the NOBIDAN events at FNCE® 2024 in Minneapolis, MN. First 10 applicants that meet the criteria will receive support. An online application must be submitted by the October 3, 2024 deadline.

Stipend Criteria:

  • Student Member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and NOBIDAN for at least one year.
  • Registered for FNCE® 2024.
