Erica Smith M.S., R.D.

Erica completed her Masters degree in Dietetics at D’Youvile College in Buffalo, NY in 2008. Her B.S. in nutrition is from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. A native of Aurora, CO, Erica has a passion to work in the community to educate individuals in chronic health prevention by developing healthy lifestyles. She currentlo works in Indian Health Services as the Supervisory Dietitian for the Hopi Health Care Center in Polacca, AZ.
She has been invited as a guest on the Hopi Indian radio talk show “House Calls” by the Doctor that hosts a call in the talk show.This program educates Hopi and Navajo people on living healthy lives in their community.
Prior to moving to Arizona, Erica worked in several volunteer and part-time positions in community health with elderly and youth in Denver, CO.
